Location: Cypress, CA, US, 90630
Work Designation: Hybrid
Salary Range: $158,690.00 - $245,969.00
Position Summary:
We are building a best-in-class Growth & Experience organization across a portfolio of five direct-to-consumer brands: Albany Park, Edloe Finch, X-Chair, Mavix, and Timbuk2.
As Director, Consumer Acquisition & Growth, you will own demand generation and customer acquisition across the full consumer journey, from first impression through conversion and into repeat purchase. This role is responsible for setting strategy, managing internal and external partners, and driving efficient, scalable growth across a multi-brand portfolio.
This is not a channel management role. You will define how we invest across channels, simplify and strengthen our agency ecosystem, and build a more connected and effective growth engine. You will inherit a capable team and an active agency landscape, with the opportunity to elevate both.
We are a people-first, performance-driven team. We move with urgency, hold ourselves accountable to outcomes, and invest in developing our people. If you are energized by building scalable growth systems, enjoy solving complex problems, and bring curiosity for AI and data-driven experimentation, this role is a strong fit.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Demand generation & paid media strategy
- Own paid media strategy across all DTC brands, including paid search, paid social, video, audio, programmatic, affiliates, and emerging channels
- Optimize channel mix against CAC, ROAS, and LTV targets, balancing prospecting and retargeting across brands
- Evaluate and improve the media partner ecosystem to drive stronger performance and more efficient management
- Manage agency relationships and ensure consistent delivery against performance expectations
- Identify and test new channels to diversify the marketing mix and reduce reliance on any single platform
Full-funnel accountability
- Drive demand generation across the full consumer journey, from awareness through acquisition and into retention
- Partner closely with eCommerce on traffic quality, landing page performance, and conversion
- Collaborate with CRM to ensure strong connection between acquisition and lifecycle strategies
- Own growth KPIs including CAC, LTV, ROAS, retention, and contribution margin, and ensure reporting supports decision-making
Data, attribution & experimentation
- Lead a structured test-and-learn approach across all channels, with clear hypotheses and measurement plans
- Leverage attribution, media mix modeling, and incrementality testing to inform budget allocation
- Partner with Analytics to ensure data accuracy and visibility across brands
- Use first-party data and segmentation to improve targeting and efficiency
Team & agency leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team including performance marketing and social leadership roles
- Build a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
- Establish clear agency governance including scope definition, performance expectations, and review cadences
- Invest in team development and build leadership capability over time
Social & influencer integration
- Oversee integrated social strategy across paid, organic, and influencer channels
- Ensure alignment between content, media investment, and brand positioning
- Partner with Creative to maintain quality and consistency across all marketing channels
Qualifications, Skills and Education:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 10+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth, or demand generation, preferably within DTC or eCommerce environments
- Deep expertise in paid media strategy across multiple channels including search, social, video, audio, affiliates, and programmatic
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing agency partnerships, including experience leading RFP processes
- Strong fluency in attribution models, CAC and LTV economics, and contribution margin
- Experience leading and developing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to build dashboards and translate insights into action
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve media performance, forecasting, and creative output
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Experience in home furnishings, lifestyle, or consumer goods categories
- Experience partnering with CRM or lifecycle marketing teams, with familiarity in platforms such as Klaviyo
- Experience contributing to media mix modeling or incrementality testing programs
- Track record of simplifying or restructuring agency ecosystems in a multi-brand environment

Which consumer goods companies sponsor Green Card visas in California?
Several large consumer goods employers in California have established immigration sponsorship programs, including Clorox (headquartered in Oakland), Gap Inc. (San Francisco), and Levi Strauss & Co. (San Francisco). Global companies like Procter & Gamble and Unilever also operate California offices and have sponsored permanent residency for qualifying employees. Sponsorship decisions are made case by case based on role, tenure, and business need.
Which cities in California have the most consumer goods Green Card sponsorship jobs?
The Bay Area, particularly San Francisco and Oakland, leads due to the concentration of consumer goods headquarters and innovation offices. Los Angeles is strong for beauty, apparel, and entertainment-adjacent consumer brands. Sacramento sees activity in food and beverage manufacturing. San Diego has a notable presence in health and wellness consumer products. Each market reflects different consumer goods sub-sectors, so the best city depends on your specific function.
What types of consumer goods roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship?
Roles most commonly sponsored include supply chain managers, brand managers, data and consumer insights analysts, product development engineers, regulatory affairs specialists, and finance professionals. Positions requiring specialized degrees, such as food science, chemical engineering, or MBA-level business roles, tend to qualify more readily for employment-based Green Card categories like EB-2 or EB-3. General labor or warehouse roles are less commonly sponsored for permanent residency.
How do I find consumer goods Green Card sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and lets you filter by visa type, industry, and state, making it straightforward to browse consumer goods roles in California where employers have indicated Green Card sponsorship. Because sponsorship willingness is not always listed on standard job postings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that surfaces this information directly saves significant time in your search.
Are there any California-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in consumer goods?
California's strict labor laws and high cost of living influence how employers structure sponsorship. The state's large immigrant workforce means many consumer goods companies are familiar with the sponsorship process, but PERM labor certification still requires employers to document a good-faith recruitment effort showing no qualified U.S. workers were available. California's competitive talent market can sometimes complicate that showing for certain roles, which is worth discussing with an immigration attorney.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card consumer goods jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
