Job Description:

- Lead and manage a team, establishing expectations and holding the team accountable to meeting them (LMA).
- Manage department priorities and optimize workflows to meet the production demand as scheduled by Supply Chain.
- Ensure produced products meet or exceed quality specifications.
- Meet or exceed production and employee budgetary guidelines.
- Lead the department’s innovation and process improvement activities to identify and reduce/eliminate waste.
- Oversee and maintain a safe work environment, providing necessary training and ensuring the team performs job functions safely.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a production environment with a high level of understanding of production equipment and methods.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to anticipate and act upon potential and existing problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate and instruct while fostering a positive work environment.
- Must be able to bend, reach and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
