We are seeking multiple assembly associates to join our outstanding assembly operations / production Team. We are an exciting customer driven architectural lighting design and manufacturing company located in the Oceanside, California.

This key role requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment where quality, accuracy and dependability are highly valued. Must have a strong orientation toward detail and organization. This is an AM shift and open availability required.

Job Description

• Perform light mechanical assembly work that is moderately complex that requires fitting, alignment and adjustment of components.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Use manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and hand tools to perform assembly processes.
• Works with team members to follows instructions and procedures exactly.
• Makes few minor decisions while following established procedures.
• Controls the quality of all work personally assembled to acceptable standards. Test to confirm.
• Rework Production Items as appropriate.
• Builds assemblies involving adjusting and fitting parts to close tolerances with timely data entry.

- Bi-Lingual: English / Spanish
- Some assembly experience

Physical Requirements:

Vision Acuity. See differences between colors, shades, and brightness. See details of objects that are more than a few feet away and review printed documents with words and numbers at close range.

Dexterity. Use fingers or hands to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects. Hold the arm and hand in one position or turn hands while keeping arms steady.

Math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.

Mechanical skills. Make quick, precise adjustments with hand held machines.

Physical stamina. Stand for long periods of time on the assembly concrete floor.

Physical strength. Ability to carry light to medium weight loads of products weighing up to a maximum of 40 lbs.

Technical skills. Ability to learn and accurately follow directions.
