Which companies in Colorado sponsor visas for accounting managers?
Large Colorado employers with established visa sponsorship programs for accounting managers include DaVita, Lockheed Martin, Dish Network, Arrow Electronics, and Ball Corporation. Regional accounting firms and healthcare networks in the Denver metro also file sponsorship petitions regularly. Companies in the aerospace and natural resources sectors tend to have dedicated HR infrastructure for managing the sponsorship process.
Which visa types are most common for accounting manager roles in Colorado?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for accounting managers in Colorado, since the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with a master's degree may qualify for the H-1B advanced degree exemption. Some multinational employers use the L-1A for managers transferring from an overseas office into a Colorado position.
Which cities in Colorado have the most accounting manager sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of accounting manager sponsorship activity in Colorado, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, financial services firms, and healthcare organizations. Aurora and Englewood, as suburban Denver employment hubs, also see consistent demand. Boulder attracts sponsorship from technology and life sciences companies, while Colorado Springs has defense and government contracting employers that periodically hire internationally.
How to find accounting manager visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search accounting manager roles in Colorado without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. The platform surfaces employers who have a documented history of H-1B and other sponsorship filings, which is particularly useful for targeting Denver's corporate sector and Boulder's tech-adjacent finance roles.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for accounting managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose compensation ranges in job postings, which gives international candidates useful context when evaluating whether an offer will meet H-1B prevailing wage requirements set by the Department of Labor. The state's strong university pipeline, particularly from the University of Colorado and Colorado State University, means some employers already have sponsorship infrastructure in place through OPT and STEM OPT hiring before committing to H-1B petitions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored accounting manager jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
