Which companies sponsor visas for C.N.A.s in Colorado?
The largest sponsoring employers for C.N.A.s in Colorado are major health systems including UCHealth, Centura Health, and SCL Health (now Intermountain Health), along with skilled nursing facility operators and long-term care chains with a statewide presence. Staffing agencies that place healthcare workers in Colorado facilities have also filed sponsorship petitions, though direct employment through a facility typically offers more stable visa support.
Which visa types are most common for C.N.A. roles in Colorado?
Most C.N.A. positions in Colorado are filled through the EB-3 immigrant visa category, which covers unskilled and semi-skilled workers and does not require a bachelor's degree. Some employers use the H-2B visa temporary nonimmigrant visa for seasonal or short-term CNA needs. EB-3 sponsorship requires PERM labor certification, which confirms no qualified U.S. workers were available, and processing timelines can extend over multiple years depending on an applicant's country of birth.
How to find c.n.a. visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find C.N.A. visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado specifically. The platform filters listings by role and state, so you can browse verified sponsoring employers in the Denver metro, Colorado Springs, and other active hiring areas without sorting through postings from employers who do not sponsor. Filtering by C.N.A. on Migrate Mate surfaces facilities that have a documented history of sponsoring international workers for this role.
Which cities in Colorado have the most C.N.A. sponsorship jobs?
Denver and the surrounding metro area, including Aurora and Lakewood, account for the highest concentration of C.N.A. sponsorship activity in Colorado due to the density of hospital campuses and affiliated skilled nursing facilities. Colorado Springs is the next most active market. Pueblo and Fort Collins also see periodic hiring, particularly from regional hospital networks and independently operated nursing homes serving growing suburban populations.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for C.N.A. visa sponsorship?
Colorado requires C.N.A.s to hold active certification through the Colorado Nurse Aide Registry before beginning work, regardless of immigration status. International applicants will need to satisfy this state credential requirement in addition to meeting federal visa eligibility. Colorado's Department of Public Health and Environment oversees the registry. Employers sponsoring through EB-3 must also meet the U.S. Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements for the specific county where the position is located.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored c.n.a. jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
