Which companies sponsor visas for C.N.A.s in Oklahoma?
The most active sponsors for C.N.A. roles in Oklahoma include INTEGRIS Health, Saint Francis Health System, Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City, and OU Health. Long-term care operators such as Brookdale Senior Living and Frontier Senior Living also post sponsored positions across the state. Critical access hospitals in rural counties frequently sponsor internationally trained CNAs to address persistent staffing shortfalls.
Which visa types are most common for C.N.A. roles in Oklahoma?
Most C.N.A. sponsorships in Oklahoma involve the H-1B visa, though the role must be classified as a specialty occupation, which requires a degree-level credential. The EB-3 immigrant visa is a more common long-term pathway for nursing assistants, often pursued through employer-sponsored PERM labor certification. Some facilities also hire CNAs under the TN visa category if the applicant is a Canadian or Mexican national meeting specific credential criteria.
How to find c.n.a. visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find C.N.A. visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma. The platform filters job listings specifically to employers who sponsor work visas, so you can browse Oklahoma openings without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. Filtering by city, such as Oklahoma City or Tulsa, helps narrow results to the highest-density hiring areas for internationally trained nursing assistants.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most C.N.A. sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City and Tulsa account for the largest share of sponsored C.N.A. positions, driven by major health systems headquartered in both metros. Lawton, Norman, and Edmond also post consistent openings, largely through regional hospital networks and nursing home chains. Rural communities across western and southeastern Oklahoma show growing sponsorship activity as facilities compete for qualified candidates in underserved areas.
Are there any state-specific considerations for sponsored C.N.A. jobs in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma requires CNAs to hold active certification through the Oklahoma State Department of Health, and internationally trained applicants must verify their foreign credentials meet state standards before beginning work. Oklahoma participates in the Nurse Licensure Compact for RNs, but C.N.A. certification is state-specific and non-transferable from other states. Employers sponsoring foreign-born CNAs typically assist with the credentialing process as part of the onboarding timeline.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored c.n.a. jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
