Search Logistics Jobs in ColoradoLogistics Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for logistics roles in Colorado?
Amazon, XPO Logistics, Werner Enterprises, and Walmart have sponsored visas for logistics and supply chain professionals at their Colorado facilities. Denver International Airport's cargo and freight operations also employ logistics staff through companies with established sponsorship programs. Larger 3PL and distribution firms tend to have dedicated HR infrastructure capable of managing H-1B visa and other work visa petitions.
Which visa types are most common for logistics roles in Colorado?
The H-1B visa is the most common sponsorship path for logistics roles that require a relevant bachelor's degree, such as supply chain analyst, operations research analyst, or logistics systems manager. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. Roles that are primarily physical or operational, without a degree requirement, generally do not qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B criteria.
Which cities in Colorado have the most logistics sponsorship jobs?
Denver and Aurora concentrate the most logistics sponsorship activity, anchored by Denver International Airport's cargo hub and several large distribution centers along the I-70 and I-25 freight corridors. Colorado Springs has a growing logistics presence tied to its military and manufacturing base. Commerce City and Englewood also host distribution and supply chain operations from national employers with sponsorship capacity.
How to find logistics visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to find logistics roles in Colorado without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by location and job category to surface supply chain analyst, freight coordinator, and operations manager roles from Colorado-based employers who have actively petitioned for work visas.
Are there any Colorado-specific factors that affect logistics sponsorship hiring?
Colorado's growing e-commerce and aerospace supply chains have increased demand for analytically skilled logistics professionals, which supports sponsorship cases tied to specialty occupation standards. The state's proximity to major transcontinental freight routes makes distribution hubs here strategically important for national employers. Employers must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the specific Colorado metropolitan area where the role is based, which varies by county and job level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored logistics jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
