YOUR ROLE
As Logistics Supervisor, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential.
Your scope includes:
- Direct daily logistics, shipping, warehousing, and material handling activities to support operational efficiency.
- Supervise Logistics Coordinators, Shippers, and material handling personnel, providing coaching, direction, and performance management.
- Manage employee scheduling, time and attendance, and workplace accountability.
- Ensure production lines remain clear of debris and that baled materials are processed and removed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory transactions are completed correctly and in real time.
- Oversee cycle count activities and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, and Operations teams to address shipping priorities, inventory issues, and production delays.
- Enforce company safety policies and promote a safe working environment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize material flow.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You're a natural fit for Logistics Supervisor if you have:
- Minimum of 2–5 years of logistics, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain experience.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material flow processes.
- Proven experience managing employee performance, attendance, and accountability.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- Manufacturing experience preferred; paper industry experience is not required.
