Which companies sponsor visas for logistics roles in Oklahoma?
Several large employers in Oklahoma have a documented history of sponsoring work visas for logistics professionals. Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, SYGMA Network, and Macy's distribution centers in the Oklahoma City area have filed Labor Condition Applications for supply chain and operations roles. Energy sector companies in Tulsa, including those supporting oil and gas logistics, also appear in federal sponsorship records for qualified candidates.
Which visa types are most common for logistics roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for logistics professionals in Oklahoma, typically applied to roles like supply chain analyst, logistics engineer, and transportation systems manager that require a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or engineering roles. O-1 visas are rare but possible for candidates with exceptional accomplishments in supply chain or operations.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most logistics sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City and Tulsa account for the large majority of logistics visa sponsorship activity in the state. Oklahoma City benefits from its position along I-40 and I-35, housing major distribution centers and freight operations. Tulsa's role as an energy hub drives demand for supply chain professionals supporting oil and gas infrastructure. Smaller markets like Edmond and Norman occasionally see openings tied to regional distribution.
How to find logistics visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate is built specifically to surface logistics roles in Oklahoma where employers are open to visa sponsorship. You can filter by state and job category to see current openings at distribution centers, freight companies, and supply chain operations across Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Because sponsorship willingness is often not advertised in standard job postings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that focuses on this data saves significant research time.
Are there any state-specific considerations for logistics visa sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's logistics hiring is closely tied to the energy sector, meaning demand for supply chain professionals can shift with oil and gas market cycles. Employers filing H-1B petitions for logistics roles must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements, which are determined by the specific occupation code and the Oklahoma City or Tulsa metropolitan area. Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma also produce supply chain graduates who sometimes enter the sponsorship pipeline through student visa transitions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored logistics jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
