Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain operations roles in Colorado?
Established Colorado employers with documented sponsorship histories in supply chain and operations include Lockheed Martin, Ball Corporation, Arrow Electronics, and Jabil. Distribution and logistics companies serving Denver International Airport's cargo operations have also filed sponsorships for operations roles. Larger multinationals with Colorado facilities are generally more likely to have dedicated HR processes for work visa filings.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain operations roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for supply chain operations professionals in Colorado, particularly for roles requiring a degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations research. The L-1B and L-1A apply when a worker transfers from a foreign office of a Colorado-based multinational. TN status covers Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying operations roles under USMCA.
Which cities in Colorado have the most supply chain operations sponsorship jobs?
Denver and the broader Front Range corridor account for the majority of supply chain operations sponsorship activity in Colorado. Colorado Springs supports aerospace and defense supply chain roles tied to nearby military installations. Aurora and Commerce City host distribution centers and manufacturing facilities. Fort Collins and Boulder have smaller but active operations roles connected to the technology and consumer goods sectors.
How to find supply chain operations visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate aggregates visa sponsorship jobs specifically for international candidates, making it straightforward to filter for supply chain operations roles in Colorado. Because not every job posting explicitly states sponsorship availability, using a platform built around verified sponsorship data saves significant research time. Migrate Mate's Colorado supply chain listings include employers across Denver, Colorado Springs, and the broader Front Range.
Are there state-specific considerations for supply chain operations sponsorship roles in Colorado?
Colorado's aerospace and defense concentration means many supply chain roles require security clearances, which can complicate or preclude sponsorship for non-citizens, depending on clearance level. The state's strong university pipeline through Colorado State University and the University of Colorado produces local graduates, meaning sponsored roles tend to require specialized technical or management qualifications. Prevailing wage requirements under H-1B rules are determined by the Denver-Aurora metropolitan area designation for most Front Range positions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain operations jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
