Which companies sponsor visas for technical product managers in Colorado?
Companies with consistent TPM hiring and visa sponsorship activity in Colorado include Palantir Technologies (Denver), Zoom, Arrow Electronics, and a range of cloud and cybersecurity firms concentrated along the Denver-Boulder corridor. Large defense contractors such as Lockheed Martin and Raytheon also hire technical product managers at their Colorado facilities and have established immigration sponsorship infrastructure.
Which visa types are most common for technical product manager roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa for technical product managers in Colorado, as TPM roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation requirement. Candidates with extraordinary achievement may qualify for the O-1A. Australians may pursue the E-3, and Canadians and Mexicans may be eligible for TN status under the USMCA.
Which cities in Colorado have the most technical product manager sponsorship jobs?
Denver is the primary hub, hosting the largest concentration of tech employers and startups with sponsorship capacity. Boulder follows closely, driven by its university research environment and companies like Zayo Group and early-stage ventures. Colorado Springs sees demand from defense and aerospace contractors. Remote-friendly Colorado employers have also expanded the pool beyond any single city.
How to find technical product manager visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to browse technical product manager openings in Colorado without sorting through roles that don't sponsor. You can filter by state and role type to surface employers in Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs who have posted TPM positions and indicated willingness to sponsor international candidates.
Are there any Colorado-specific factors technical product managers should know about visa sponsorship?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose compensation ranges in job postings, which gives international candidates clearer information about whether a role meets Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for H-1B purposes before applying. The state's concentration of defense and aerospace employers also means some TPM roles carry security clearance requirements, which can effectively limit sponsorship options for non-citizens.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical product manager jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
