ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to Director of State Tax, the candidate will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the State Tax team. The candidate will perform daily mail sorting and analysis, monitor the shared team mailbox, and run daily team-wide reports. The candidate will prepare basic tax filings across different tax types.
This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office (Hartford, CT) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Primary Duties:
- Day-to-day administrative duties, including daily mail sorting and analysis, monitor the shared team mailbox, and run daily team-wide reports.
- Prepare basic tax filings across multiple jurisdictions for various types of tax.
- Assist with various projects & opportunities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong PC skills, including all components of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong time and project management skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Team player
- Time management
- Associates degree, preferred
- Experience in office environment, preferred
COMPENSATION
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
- $48,000 - $72,000
