Which companies sponsor visas for business account executives in Delaware?
Wilmington-based financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Barclays, along with pharmaceutical and life sciences firms such as AstraZeneca and Incyte, have sponsored work visas for business account executive roles. Large national technology and professional services firms with Delaware offices also appear in Department of Labor sponsorship records for sales and account management positions.
Which visa types are most common for business account executive roles in Delaware?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for business account executives in Delaware, provided the role meets the specialty occupation standard, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. L-1B visas apply when an international company transfers a specialized knowledge employee to a Delaware office. Australians may also qualify under the E-3 visa for the same types of roles.
Which cities in Delaware have the most business account executive sponsorship jobs?
Wilmington accounts for the large majority of business account executive sponsorship activity in Delaware, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 financial and corporate headquarters. Newark, home to the University of Delaware, hosts a smaller but growing cluster of technology and professional services employers. Dover, the state capital, sees occasional sponsorship activity from government contractors and healthcare organizations.
How to find business account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Delaware?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify Delaware employers actively willing to sponsor business account executives rather than sorting through listings that do not address sponsorship at all. Searching by role and state on Migrate Mate surfaces opportunities at financial services, pharmaceutical, and technology firms operating in and around Wilmington.
Are there any Delaware-specific considerations for business account executives seeking visa sponsorship?
Delaware's incorporation-friendly legal environment means many large corporations are domiciled here, but their hiring operations often center in Wilmington or may involve multistate roles. For H-1B sponsorship, employers must file a Labor Condition Application reflecting prevailing wages for the Wilmington metropolitan area. Business account executive roles that involve direct sales rather than specialized professional judgment occasionally face heightened USCIS scrutiny under the specialty occupation definition.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business account executive jobs in Delaware?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
