Search Investment Management Jobs in DelawareInvestment Management E-3 Sponsorship Jobs in Delaware: Frequently Asked Questions
Which investment management companies sponsor E-3 visas in Delaware?
Wilmington-based firms including SEI Investments, Artisan Partners' Delaware fund entities, and a range of fund administration companies have historically filed E-3 and related work visas for skilled professionals. Delaware's status as the legal home to a large share of U.S. registered funds also means many trust companies, custodians, and compliance-focused boutiques operate there and regularly hire internationally.
Which cities in Delaware have the most investment management E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Wilmington is by far the primary hub, concentrating virtually all of Delaware's investment management activity. The city's Financial District and surrounding New Castle County host fund administrators, wealth managers, and institutional asset managers. Newark, home to the University of Delaware, has a smaller but growing finance presence. Outside these two areas, opportunities in this industry are limited within the state.
What types of investment management roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles that require a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field are the core of E-3 eligibility in investment management. Portfolio analyst, fund accountant, compliance officer, risk analyst, and investment operations associate positions commonly qualify because they demand specific finance, accounting, or economics credentials. General administrative or sales support roles that accept any degree field typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard.
How do I find investment management E-3 sponsorship jobs in Delaware?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by visa type (E-3) and industry (investment and asset management) to surface Delaware-based roles from employers with a demonstrated history of sponsorship. Because not all investment management job postings explicitly advertise visa support, using a platform that pre-screens for sponsorship activity saves significant time compared to searching general job boards.
Are there state-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in Delaware's investment management industry?
Delaware's unique corporate and fund law environment means many investment management employers are legally incorporated there but may operate primary offices in Philadelphia or New York. Before accepting a role, confirm whether the actual worksite is in Delaware, since your Labor Condition Application must reflect the location where you physically work. Prevailing wage determinations are tied to the worksite, so a Wilmington-based posting and a Philadelphia-based posting carry different LCA requirements even within the same firm.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 investment management jobs in Delaware?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
