Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain managers in Delaware?
DuPont, AstraZeneca, Chemours, and W.L. Gore and Associates are among the larger Delaware-based employers with established HR infrastructure capable of supporting H-1B visa sponsorship for supply chain roles. Delaware's concentration of pharmaceutical and specialty chemical companies means demand for supply chain managers with technical backgrounds is relatively consistent, particularly for roles involving procurement, vendor management, and regulatory compliance.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain manager roles in Delaware?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for supply chain managers in Delaware, provided the role requires a specialized bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, or a related field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify under the TN visa. Those with multinational employer backgrounds may also explore the L-1A for managerial transfers within the same corporate group.
Which cities in Delaware have the most supply chain manager sponsorship jobs?
Wilmington accounts for the majority of Delaware's supply chain manager sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of pharmaceutical, chemical, and corporate headquarters. Newark, home to the University of Delaware's business and engineering programs, also sees supply chain hiring. Middletown and Dover have a smaller but emerging presence tied to manufacturing and distribution operations along the Delaware Route 1 corridor.
How to find supply chain manager visa sponsorship jobs in Delaware?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search supply chain manager roles in Delaware without sifting through positions that don't support international candidates. The platform surfaces employers actively filing H-1B petitions for supply chain functions, saving significant time compared to unfiltered job searches. Setting up role and location filters for Delaware gives you a focused, sponsorship-confirmed job feed.
Are there state-specific considerations for supply chain managers seeking sponsorship in Delaware?
Delaware's small geographic size means its supply chain job market is tightly concentrated, primarily in New Castle County. Employers sponsoring H-1B petitions must pay the prevailing wage for the role's location and classification, which the Department of Labor determines based on job duties and local market data. Delaware's strong corporate legal infrastructure and proximity to Philadelphia also means many regional distribution and procurement operations are registered in the state even if physically located nearby.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain manager jobs in Delaware?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
