Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain managers in North Carolina?
North Carolina employers with documented H-1B sponsorship history for supply chain roles include Honeywell (Charlotte), Lenovo North America (Morrisville), Lowe's Companies (Mooresville), and Wolfspeed (Durham). Life sciences companies in the Research Triangle, including Biogen and Syneos Health, also sponsor supply chain and operations management positions. Sponsorship patterns vary by hiring year and business need.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain manager roles in North Carolina?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for supply chain managers in North Carolina, as most employers treat these roles as specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, or a related field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify under the TN visa's Management Consultant or Engineer categories depending on the specific role scope and degree background.
Which cities in North Carolina have the most supply chain manager sponsorship jobs?
Charlotte concentrates the highest volume of supply chain manager sponsorship opportunities, driven by its logistics infrastructure and corporate headquarters presence. The Research Triangle, encompassing Raleigh, Durham, and Cary, is a strong second, particularly in life sciences, semiconductor, and technology supply chains. Greensboro and Winston-Salem in the Piedmont Triad offer opportunities in aerospace, textiles, and advanced manufacturing supply chain roles.
How to find supply chain manager visa sponsorship jobs in North Carolina?
Migrate Mate filters supply chain manager jobs specifically by visa sponsorship status and state, so you can browse active North Carolina openings without sorting through roles that don't offer sponsorship. Given the concentration of employers across Charlotte, the Research Triangle, and the Piedmont Triad, searching by city within North Carolina on Migrate Mate helps you target the industry cluster most relevant to your background.
What should international supply chain managers know about North Carolina's hiring market?
North Carolina's supply chain hiring is closely tied to three industry clusters: financial services and distribution in Charlotte, life sciences and semiconductors in the Research Triangle, and manufacturing in the Piedmont Triad. NC State University and UNC Charlotte produce a steady domestic pipeline of supply chain graduates, meaning sponsorship competition is real. Candidates with specialized experience in pharmaceutical logistics, semiconductor operations, or defense supply chains tend to have stronger differentiation when approaching North Carolina employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain manager jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
