Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain managers in New Jersey?
Multinational corporations with significant New Jersey operations are the most consistent sponsors for supply chain manager roles. Companies like Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Honeywell, and Cognizant have established histories of filing H-1B visa petitions for supply chain and operations professionals. Large third-party logistics providers and consumer goods companies headquartered along the I-95 corridor also appear regularly in Department of Labor disclosure data for this role category.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain manager roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most common visa for supply chain managers in New Jersey, provided the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations research. Candidates already holding L-1 visas through intracompany transfers at multinationals with New Jersey offices are another common pathway. Some roles also qualify under TN visa status for Canadian and Mexican nationals with relevant degrees.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most supply chain manager sponsorship jobs?
Newark, Edison, and Princeton are the strongest markets for supply chain manager roles with visa sponsorship in New Jersey. Newark's proximity to Port Newark and major logistics infrastructure draws operations-focused employers. Edison and the Route 1 corridor host a dense cluster of pharmaceutical and technology company headquarters. Princeton and the surrounding Mercer County area adds exposure to research-driven firms with global supply chain operations.
How to find supply chain manager visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles offering visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to search for supply chain manager positions in New Jersey without manually screening hundreds of postings. Because sponsorship availability isn't always stated clearly in standard job ads, using a platform built around that filter saves significant time. Migrate Mate's New Jersey supply chain manager listings are drawn from employers actively seeking to sponsor international candidates.
Are there any New Jersey-specific factors supply chain managers should know about visa sponsorship?
New Jersey falls under the New York City metropolitan area for Department of Labor prevailing wage purposes, which means wage requirements for H-1B petitions are benchmarked against one of the higher-cost metro areas in the country. Employers filing Labor Condition Applications must certify they are paying at or above the prevailing wage for the specific supply chain manager role and location. Candidates should confirm their offered position reflects the appropriate wage level before a petition is filed.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain manager jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
