Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain managers in Missouri?
Large manufacturers and logistics operators in Missouri with documented H-1B sponsorship histories include Boeing, Emerson Electric, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and Express Scripts (Cigna). Healthcare and technology companies with supply chain operations, such as Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) in Kansas City, have also filed LCAs for supply chain manager roles. Sponsorship activity is concentrated in manufacturing, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, and large-scale distribution.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain manager roles in Missouri?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for supply chain manager positions in Missouri, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may also qualify under the TN visa category, which includes management positions tied to specific professional criteria under USMCA.
Which cities in Missouri have the most supply chain manager sponsorship jobs?
Kansas City and St. Louis account for the large majority of supply chain manager sponsorship activity in Missouri. Kansas City's position as a major rail and trucking hub drives demand at logistics, food and beverage, and healthcare supply chain employers. St. Louis is home to aerospace manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and agribusiness operations, all of which regularly employ supply chain managers at a level that supports visa sponsorship.
How to find supply chain manager visa sponsorship jobs in Missouri?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles where employers are open to visa sponsorship, making it easier to identify supply chain manager positions in Missouri without sifting through listings from companies that won't sponsor. You can search by role and state to see current openings from Missouri-based employers across industries like manufacturing, logistics, aerospace, and healthcare supply chain.
Are there any state-specific considerations for supply chain managers pursuing visa sponsorship in Missouri?
Missouri has a strong pipeline of supply chain talent from universities like Missouri University of Science and Technology and the University of Missouri, which means employers have local hiring options and may be selective about sponsoring international candidates. Roles tied to defense contractors in St. Louis, such as Boeing, may also carry security clearance requirements that can limit eligibility for foreign nationals regardless of visa status.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain manager jobs in Missouri?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
