ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Primary Responsibilities of an Office Manager & Bookkeeper at GRS are as follows:
- Provide pension plan accounting and financial administration for the Defined Benefit Administration clients
- Manage the clerical and support staff of the local office
- Ensures that office services, including file maintenance and supply management, are provided
- Arranges for administrative services, as needed
- Provides client communication and support, as needed
- Provides administrative support to the regional Vice President
- Coordinates the process of the development and submission of bids/proposals
- Coordinates office-level marketing efforts
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
We ask that candidates possess the following minimum knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Five or more years of bookkeeping, accounting or financial administration experience
- Strong experience with account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience with QuickBooks or another accounting system
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential financial and client information appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Professional, dependable and service-oriented
- Candidate must be able to work both individually and as part of a team
