Which companies sponsor visas for accounting analysts in Florida?
Large multinationals and financial services firms are the most active sponsors in Florida. Companies like Carnival Corporation, Raymond James Financial, Citigroup's Miami operations, and Deloitte's Florida offices have track records of sponsoring H-1B visas for accounting and finance roles. Healthcare systems like HCA Florida and technology firms with Florida headquarters also sponsor accounting analyst positions regularly.
Which visa types are most common for accounting analyst roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa for accounting analysts in Florida, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Candidates from Australia may be eligible for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals can explore the TN visa under the USMCA, which includes accountant as a qualifying profession.
Which cities in Florida have the most accounting analyst sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads Florida for accounting analyst sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of international banks, trade finance firms, and Latin American regional headquarters. Tampa is a close second, anchored by Raymond James, Syniverse, and a growing fintech sector. Orlando's tourism and hospitality conglomerates, along with its expanding corporate campus presence, also generate consistent accounting analyst hiring with sponsorship.
How to find accounting analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters accounting analyst jobs specifically by visa sponsorship status, so you can browse Florida openings without sifting through roles that don't sponsor. Search for accounting analyst positions in Florida on Migrate Mate and filter by city or employer to narrow down to Miami, Tampa, or Orlando postings from companies with active sponsorship histories.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for accounting analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Florida has no state income tax, which can affect prevailing wage comparisons since take-home pay differs from states like California or New York at the same gross salary. Florida's large international business community, particularly in Miami's Brickell financial district, means many employers are already familiar with sponsoring foreign national accountants and have established immigration counsel, which can streamline the H-1B filing process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored accounting analyst jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
