Which companies sponsor visas for manager - consulting roles in Florida?
Large management consulting and professional services firms are the most active sponsors for manager-level consulting roles in Florida. Deloitte, Accenture, IBM, PwC, KPMG, and Capgemini all maintain Florida offices and have documented H-1B sponsorship histories. Technology-focused consulting firms serving Florida's healthcare, logistics, and financial services industries also sponsor at the manager level, particularly in Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville.
Which visa types are most common for manager - consulting roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa for manager-level consulting positions in Florida, as these roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, management information systems, or engineering. The L-1A is relevant for managers transferring intracompany from a foreign affiliated office. The O-1 visa applies to candidates with extraordinary achievement in their consulting specialty, though it requires substantial documented evidence.
Which cities in Florida have the most manager - consulting sponsorship jobs?
Miami generates the highest concentration of consulting sponsorship activity in Florida, particularly in financial services, international trade, and management consulting. Tampa follows closely, driven by its expanding professional services sector and corporate headquarters presence. You can filter directly by state and job category to find active openings without sifting through positions that exclude international candidates. Migrate Mate focuses on roles where sponsorship is part of the employer's hiring practice, saving time for candidates who need that clarity upfront.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for manager - consulting visa sponsorship?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since the U.S. Department of Labor's wage determinations are set at the national or metro level. Miami's status as a Latin American business hub means consulting firms there frequently recruit internationally, particularly for bilingual candidates with regional expertise. Florida's large university system, including the University of Florida and University of Miami, also creates a consistent pipeline of OPT candidates seeking sponsorship at the manager level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored manager - consulting jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
