Which companies in Florida sponsor visas for marketing roles?
Several large employers in Florida have a documented history of sponsoring marketing professionals. Disney Parks and Resorts in Orlando, Royal Caribbean Group in Miami, Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, and Citigroup's Florida offices have all filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for marketing-related positions. Technology companies in Tampa's growing tech corridor, including ReliaQuest and ConnectWise, have also sponsored roles in digital marketing and marketing analytics.
Which visa types are most common for marketing jobs in Florida?
The H-1B is the most widely used visa for marketing professionals in Florida, covering roles such as market research analyst, digital marketing manager, and brand strategist, all of which qualify as specialty occupations requiring a related bachelor's degree. Candidates with degrees in marketing, communications, or business administration are the most common H-1B beneficiaries in this field. O-1A visas are an option for those with demonstrable distinction in their marketing career.
Which cities in Florida have the most marketing visa sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads Florida for marketing sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of multinational corporations, media companies, and a strong Latin American business focus that values bilingual marketing professionals. Orlando is a close second, anchored by tourism, hospitality, and entertainment employers. Tampa has expanded steadily as its financial technology and healthcare sectors grow. Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville offer smaller but active markets, particularly in digital and e-commerce marketing roles.
How to find marketing visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters marketing jobs in Florida by visa sponsorship status, so you're not wading through listings from employers who don't sponsor. Use it to browse roles in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, where sponsorship activity is highest. Filtering by job category and location helps you identify which employers are actively filing for marketing positions rather than relying on general job postings that rarely disclose sponsorship intent.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for marketing visa sponsorship?
Florida's tourism-heavy economy means seasonal demand affects some marketing roles, particularly in Orlando and South Florida, which can influence the stability of sponsorship offers. Employers must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the specific role and location, and Miami's wage levels for marketing positions differ from those in smaller Florida markets. Florida also draws a significant pipeline of international marketing graduates from the University of Miami, Florida International University, and the University of Florida, making it a competitive but active market for sponsored candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored marketing jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
