Which companies in Florida sponsor visas for product architects?
Florida-based employers with a track record of sponsoring technical architecture roles include Chewy (Dania Beach), Citrix (Fort Lauderdale), Raymond James (St. Petersburg), and Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) in Weston. Defense and simulation contractors around Orlando, including Lockheed Martin and L3Harris, also sponsor product architects, particularly for systems and platform architecture work tied to government programs.
What visa types are most common for product architect roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product architects in Florida, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field, qualifying it as a specialty occupation. Candidates with significant industry recognition may qualify for the O-1A. Canadians and Mexicans may also pursue the TN visa under the engineer or computer systems analyst category, depending on how the role is defined.
Which Florida cities have the most product architect sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads in volume, driven by fintech, e-commerce, and technology companies expanding in South Florida. Tampa and St. Petersburg are strong for financial services and enterprise software firms. Orlando has demand in defense, simulation, and hospitality technology. Jacksonville has a smaller but growing base of product architecture roles tied to logistics, insurance, and healthcare technology companies.
How to find product architect visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search product architect roles in Florida without sorting through employers who don't sponsor. The platform is built for international candidates, making it easier to identify which Florida-based companies are actively willing to file petitions for this type of senior technical role rather than limiting hiring to candidates already authorized to work.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for product architects seeking visa sponsorship?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons, since total compensation packages may be structured differently than in high-tax states. The state's university system, including the University of Florida and University of South Florida, produces a pipeline of engineering graduates that some employers draw from first. Product architects should be aware that Florida's tech sector is less concentrated than California or New York, meaning sponsoring employers can be more selective at the senior architecture level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product architect jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
