Which companies sponsor visas for product development managers in Florida?
Florida employers with a track record of sponsoring H-1B and other work visas for product and development roles include Lockheed Martin, L3Harris Technologies, Chewy, Carnival Corporation, Citi, and Florida Blue. Technology-focused firms in the Miami tech corridor and Tampa Bay area have also filed Labor Condition Applications for product development manager positions in recent years.
Which visa types are most common for product development manager roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product development managers in Florida, given the role's typical requirement of a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, business, or a related field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for the TN visa under the NAFTA/USMCA professional category. Australian citizens may explore the E-3 visa as an alternative to the H-1B.
Which cities in Florida have the most product development manager sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads for product development manager sponsorship activity, driven by its growing fintech, healthtech, and consumer goods sectors. Tampa and Orlando follow closely, with Orlando's simulation and defense industry and Tampa's finance and technology corridor generating consistent demand. The Space Coast cities of Melbourne and Titusville also see sponsorship activity tied to aerospace and defense contractors.
How to find product development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to find product development manager roles in Florida where employers are open to sponsoring international candidates. Rather than sorting through general job postings, you can browse verified sponsorship-ready listings across Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and the Space Coast all in one place.
Are there state-specific factors that affect product development manager sponsorship in Florida?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations relative to higher-tax states, though the Department of Labor sets H-1B prevailing wages at the metropolitan area level regardless. Florida's concentration of aerospace, defense, and maritime industries means product development manager roles often require familiarity with regulated sectors, which can influence the specialty occupation determination that underpins H-1B eligibility.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product development manager jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
