Which companies in Florida sponsor visas for social media content roles?
Florida-based employers with documented sponsorship activity in digital content include Royal Caribbean Group, Carnival Corporation, Univision Communications, and a number of Miami-headquartered marketing and creative agencies. Tourism giants in the Orlando area and regional media companies also sponsor for content roles, particularly when candidates bring multilingual skills or specialized platform expertise that's difficult to source domestically.
Which visa types are most common for social media content jobs in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa for social media content roles in Florida, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as marketing, communications, or digital media. Some candidates also enter through the O-1A for individuals with extraordinary ability in their field. Australian citizens may qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and is available year-round.
Which cities in Florida have the most social media content visa sponsorship jobs?
Miami has the highest concentration, driven by its position as a Latin American business hub and home to regional headquarters for major media, entertainment, and consumer brands. Orlando is active in tourism and hospitality-related content roles, particularly around the theme park and resort industry. Tampa has a smaller but growing presence, supported by its expanding tech and financial services sectors that increasingly invest in digital content.
How to find social media content visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search social media content roles in Florida without sifting through positions that won't consider international candidates. The platform is built for job seekers who need work authorization, making it more targeted than general job searches. Filtering by Florida and content-related job categories on Migrate Mate surfaces employers who have actively sponsored for similar roles.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for social media content visa sponsorship?
Florida's large Spanish-speaking population means employers in Miami frequently seek bilingual content creators, which can strengthen a candidate's profile for sponsorship consideration. The state has no income tax, which affects how prevailing wage requirements compare to take-home pay relative to higher-tax states. Florida also has several universities with strong communications and digital media programs that create local pipelines, so sponsored roles tend to require demonstrated professional experience to stand out.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored social media content jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
