Which companies sponsor visas for warehouse jobs in Florida?
Amazon, Chewy, XPO Logistics, Ryder System, and Walmart distribution centers are among the larger employers in Florida with documented histories of sponsoring work visas for operations and logistics roles. Florida-based third-party logistics providers serving the port and e-commerce sectors also file sponsorship petitions, particularly for supervisory and specialized warehouse management positions.
Which visa types are most common for warehouse roles in Florida?
H-1B sponsorship for warehouse roles is typically limited to positions requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as supply chain management, industrial engineering, or logistics operations. General warehouse associate or picker-packer roles rarely qualify. TN visas may apply for Canadian or Mexican nationals in qualifying management or engineering capacities. EB-3 immigrant visa sponsorship is more common for longer-term warehouse and distribution roles.
Which cities in Florida have the most warehouse sponsorship jobs?
Miami and the surrounding Miami-Dade area lead in warehouse sponsorship activity, driven by proximity to PortMiami and Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. Orlando is a secondary hub due to its central location and strong e-commerce fulfillment presence. Tampa and Jacksonville also have active distribution sectors, with Jacksonville serving as a major regional logistics node along the I-95 and I-10 corridors.
How to find warehouse visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for international job seekers and filters warehouse roles in Florida by visa sponsorship availability, so you're not sorting through listings that won't support your work authorization. Search for warehouse, distribution, and logistics operations roles filtered to Florida to see current openings from employers who have indicated sponsorship. This is considerably more targeted than general job search methods.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for warehouse visa sponsorship?
Florida's concentration of international trade through its major seaports creates demand for warehouse and logistics professionals with multilingual skills and import-export experience, which can strengthen a sponsorship case for qualifying roles. Florida has no state income tax, which affects overall compensation comparisons. Employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the specific occupational classification and geographic area, which is set at the county level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored warehouse jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
