Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for project executives?
Large construction and engineering firms with a Georgia presence are among the most active sponsors for project executive roles, including Turner Construction, Holder Construction, and Jacobs Engineering. Major corporate employers like Delta Air Lines, NCR Voyix, and The Home Depot also sponsor project executives for technology and operations divisions. Firms with active federal or infrastructure contracts tend to have established sponsorship processes for senior project leadership.
Which visa types are most common for project executives in Georgia?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for project executives in Georgia, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Senior project executives with exceptional records may qualify for the O-1A. Multinational companies headquartered or operating in Georgia sometimes use the L-1A for executives transferring from an overseas office, bypassing the H-1B lottery entirely.
Which cities in Georgia have the most project executive sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of project executive sponsorship opportunities in Georgia, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, major construction firms, and technology companies. Midtown and Buckhead are particularly active for corporate and real estate project leadership. Suburban areas like Alpharetta and Marietta also see demand, largely tied to technology campuses and logistics infrastructure development across the broader metro region.
How to find project executive visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically to roles where employers have a documented history of visa sponsorship, which is especially useful for project executive positions in Georgia where sponsorship willingness varies widely by firm. Search by role and state on Migrate Mate to surface Atlanta-area construction, technology, and corporate project executive openings from employers already set up to support H-1B and other work visa petitions.
What should project executives know about Georgia-specific hiring considerations for visa sponsorship?
Georgia's construction and infrastructure boom, including MARTA expansion and large data center projects in northern Atlanta suburbs, has increased demand for senior project leadership, which strengthens the case for sponsorship. Project executive roles typically sit at or above the H-1B prevailing wage Level III or IV thresholds, so employers in Georgia generally satisfy Department of Labor wage requirements without difficulty. A strong degree-to-role alignment, such as construction management or engineering credentials tied directly to the position description, is important for specialty occupation qualification.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project executive jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
