Which companies sponsor visas for project management specialists in Georgia?
Large Georgia-based employers with established visa sponsorship histories include Delta Air Lines, The Home Depot, NCR Voyix, Equifax, and Honeywell. Healthcare systems like Emory Healthcare and Piedmont Health also hire project management specialists and have sponsored H-1B visa workers. Global consulting firms such as Deloitte, Accenture, and IBM maintain significant Atlanta offices and regularly file sponsorship petitions for project management roles.
Which visa types are most common for project management specialist roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa for project management specialists in Georgia, provided the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, engineering, or information systems. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may be eligible under the TN visa category if their degree and duties align with the USMCA qualifying occupation list.
Which cities in Georgia have the most project management specialist sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of project management specialist sponsorship jobs in Georgia, given its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, technology firms, and consulting offices. Savannah is a secondary market with growing demand tied to port expansion and logistics operations. Gainesville and Augusta have smaller but active hiring markets, particularly in manufacturing and healthcare project management.
How to find project management specialist visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically to roles where employers have a documented history of visa sponsorship, making it easier to focus your search on project management specialist openings in Georgia without sorting through positions that won't support work authorization. You can filter by state and role type to surface relevant Atlanta-area and Savannah-area opportunities across technology, logistics, and corporate sectors.
Are there state-specific considerations for project management specialists seeking visa sponsorship in Georgia?
Georgia's strong university pipeline, including Georgia Tech and Georgia State University, means employers are familiar with hiring international graduates into project management roles, particularly in technology and engineering. The state's logistics growth around Savannah's port has increased demand for specialists with supply chain project management backgrounds. Employers must still meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for your specific role and geographic location within Georgia.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management specialist jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
