Which companies sponsor visas for sales roles in Georgia?
Georgia-based employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories for sales-related roles include NCR Voyix, Manhattan Associates, Salesforce, and IBM's Atlanta offices. Large distribution and logistics companies headquartered in or operating out of Georgia, such as UPS and HD Supply, also sponsor international candidates in enterprise sales and account management positions. Sponsorship activity is concentrated in Metro Atlanta's technology and supply chain sectors.
Which visa types are most common for sales roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa for sales professionals in Georgia, particularly for roles like enterprise account executive, solutions consultant, or sales engineer that require a specific bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field. The L-1B intracompany transferee visa is another path for candidates already employed by a multinational with a Georgia presence, such as those moving into a U.S. sales role from an overseas office.
Which cities in Georgia have the most sales sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of sponsored sales roles in Georgia, driven by its concentration of technology firms, financial services companies, and Fortune 500 headquarters in areas like Midtown, Buckhead, and the Perimeter Center corridor. Savannah has a smaller but growing market, particularly in logistics and industrial sales tied to the Port of Savannah. Augusta and Columbus see limited sponsorship activity compared to Metro Atlanta.
How to find sales visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find sales visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia, with job listings filtered specifically for employers willing to sponsor international candidates. Focusing your search on enterprise software, supply chain technology, and financial services roles in Metro Atlanta will return the highest volume of relevant results. Migrate Mate allows you to filter by role type and state, so you can target Georgia sales openings without sifting through unsponsored listings.
Are there state-specific considerations for international candidates in Georgia sales roles?
Georgia does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal immigration rules, but the H-1B specialty occupation standard is a meaningful hurdle for general sales titles. Roles framed as solutions consultant, sales engineer, or technical account manager, where a specific degree is a genuine requirement, are more likely to qualify than broad 'sales representative' positions. Georgia's large university system, including Georgia Tech and Georgia State, also creates an active OPT pipeline for international graduates already in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
