Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for strategy lead roles?
Atlanta-headquartered corporations are the primary sponsors for strategy lead positions in Georgia. Companies like Delta Air Lines, The Coca-Cola Company, NCR Voyix, Intercontinental Exchange, and UPS have consistent histories of H-1B visa sponsorship for senior strategy and business planning roles. Management consulting firms with Atlanta offices, including McKinsey and Deloitte, also sponsor strategy talent regularly.
Which visa types are most common for strategy lead roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is by far the most common visa for strategy lead roles in Georgia, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in business, economics, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with multinational employer relationships may also qualify for L-1A or L-1B transfers. Australians working in strategy may consider the E-3 visa as an H-1B alternative.
How to find strategy lead visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse strategy lead openings in Georgia without sorting through roles that won't consider visa candidates. Given that Atlanta is the hub for most Georgia-based strategy hiring, filtering by city alongside sponsorship status on Migrate Mate will surface the most relevant opportunities at corporations and consulting firms actively recruiting internationally.
Which cities in Georgia have the most strategy lead sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of strategy lead sponsorship activity in Georgia. The city's Midtown and Buckhead corridors host corporate headquarters, consulting firm offices, and fintech companies that hire for senior strategy functions. Dunwoody and Alpharetta, both in metro Atlanta, also have employer concentrations in technology and financial services where strategy roles with sponsorship do appear.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for strategy lead visa sponsorship?
Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters in Atlanta means prevailing wage determinations for strategy lead roles are benchmarked against a competitive metro labor market, which employers must meet or exceed when filing an H-1B Labor Condition Application. Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business and Emory's Goizueta Business School also generate a pipeline of internationally educated MBA graduates that some Atlanta employers actively recruit, increasing familiarity with sponsorship processes among local hiring teams.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategy lead jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
