Which media and entertainment companies sponsor TN visas in Georgia?
Atlanta-based employers with a history of hiring international talent include CNN (headquartered in Atlanta), Tyler Perry Studios, Turner Broadcasting, and various production companies supporting Georgia's active film and television industry. Advertising agencies, post-production houses, and streaming content studios operating in the Atlanta metro also periodically hire for TN-eligible roles, though sponsorship willingness varies by employer and role.
Which cities in Georgia have the most media and entertainment TN sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of media and entertainment TN opportunities in Georgia. The city's Midtown and Buckhead neighborhoods house major broadcast networks and advertising firms, while areas around the Tyler Perry Studios complex in southwest Atlanta support film and TV production. Savannah has a smaller but growing film production presence, particularly for on-location shoots that sometimes require technical hires.
What types of media and entertainment roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa eligibility in media and entertainment generally applies to roles requiring a specific bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Qualifying positions commonly include graphic designers, computer systems analysts working on broadcast or streaming infrastructure, scientific technicians supporting production technology, and certain writers or editors in roles tied to a specific academic discipline. General production assistant or talent-based roles typically do not qualify under TN categories.
How do I find media and entertainment TN sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by TN visa type, Georgia as the state, and media and entertainment as the industry to see current openings from employers that have indicated sponsorship willingness. This is more targeted than general job searches because Migrate Mate focuses on visa-sponsoring employers, saving you from applying to companies that will not support a TN petition for international candidates.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in media and entertainment?
Georgia's generous film tax credit program has made it one of the busiest production states in the country, which creates more hiring activity in media and entertainment than the state's size alone would suggest. However, many production roles are project-based or short-term, and TN status is typically tied to a specific employer and position. Candidates should confirm that a prospective employer can support a TN petition for the full duration of the role before accepting an offer.
