Which automotive companies sponsor TN visas in Georgia?
Kia Georgia in West Point, Rivian's manufacturing operations, and a network of Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers concentrated around metro Atlanta and the Savannah port corridor are among the employers that have sponsored TN visas for qualified professionals. Large original equipment manufacturers and their supplier networks tend to have established HR and immigration processes, making them more familiar with TN sponsorship than smaller shops.
Which cities in Georgia have the most automotive TN sponsorship jobs?
West Point anchors Georgia's automotive manufacturing base as the home of Kia Georgia's assembly plant and surrounding suppliers. Metro Atlanta is the primary hub for automotive engineering, design, and corporate functions, with suppliers and technical centers spread across the northern suburbs. Savannah has grown as a logistics and assembly corridor following Hyundai's Metaplant America opening nearby in Bryan County, drawing additional supplier investment to the region.
What types of automotive roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa eligibility in the automotive industry generally covers roles that require a relevant bachelor's degree or higher in a specific discipline. Engineers across mechanical, electrical, industrial, and manufacturing specializations are common qualifying occupations. Quality assurance engineers, manufacturing process engineers, and computer systems analysts supporting vehicle software or production systems also frequently appear in TN sponsorship filings. Roles that require only trade certifications or general management experience typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard under TN.
How do I find automotive TN sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Canadian and Mexican professionals seeking TN-eligible roles and lets you filter by visa type, industry, and state. Searching for automotive TN sponsorship jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate surfaces employers with active sponsorship history in the state, saving significant time compared to manually screening general job postings. Focusing your search on manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers, and technical centers in the West Point, Atlanta, and Savannah corridors will give you the most relevant results.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for pursuing automotive TN sponsorship?
Georgia's automotive growth has attracted significant foreign direct investment, particularly from South Korean automakers and their supplier networks, which means many hiring managers are experienced with international workers and cross-border employment structures. However, TN eligibility is determined at the federal level by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, not by the state or employer. Professionals should confirm their specific job title and duties align with a listed TN occupation category before accepting an offer, as not every engineering-adjacent role automatically qualifies.
