Which accounting companies sponsor TN visas in Georgia?
The Big Four accounting firms, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC, all have significant Atlanta offices and a history of filing TN petitions for Canadian and Mexican accounting professionals. Large Georgia-headquartered corporations like Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, Home Depot, and UPS also maintain in-house accounting and finance teams that have sponsored TN workers. Regional firms and staffing agencies in Atlanta's financial district round out the employer pool.
Which cities in Georgia have the most accounting TN sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the vast majority of accounting TN sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, Big Four offices, and financial services firms. Buckhead and Midtown Atlanta are particularly dense with accounting employers. Outside Atlanta, Savannah has a smaller but growing professional services sector, and Augusta and Columbus have accounting opportunities tied to healthcare systems and regional banks.
What types of accounting roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
The TN visa covers Accountants as a designated occupation, which generally includes roles such as public accountant, certified public accountant (CPA), tax accountant, audit associate, financial analyst, and internal auditor. The position must require accounting as a core function, and the applicant must hold a relevant bachelor's degree or a Canadian or Mexican professional accounting credential. General bookkeeping or clerical finance roles typically do not qualify.
How do I find accounting TN sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN-eligible professionals and filters accounting jobs in Georgia by visa type, so you're not sifting through postings from employers unwilling to sponsor. Search for accounting roles in Atlanta and other Georgia cities on Migrate Mate, and filter by TN visa to surface employers already familiar with the sponsorship process. Pairing that with direct outreach to Big Four and Fortune 500 recruiting teams in Atlanta improves your chances.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for TN accounting sponsorship?
Georgia does not impose state-level licensing requirements that would block a TN petition, but employers in regulated industries, banking, insurance, and public accounting firms, often prefer or require CPA licensure. The Georgia State Board of Accountancy accepts foreign credentials through a comparability review, which can affect hiring timelines. Atlanta's competitive accounting job market means employers generally move quickly, so having your credential documentation organized before applying is important.
