Which healthcare companies sponsor TN visas in Georgia?
Georgia's largest health systems, including Emory Healthcare, Wellstar Health System, Piedmont Health, and Northside Hospital, are among the employers that have hired TN-eligible professionals. The Medical College of Georgia and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta also recruit internationally for qualifying roles. Sponsorship availability varies by position and hiring cycle, so confirming directly with each employer's HR or talent acquisition team is the best approach.
Which cities in Georgia have the most healthcare TN sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta is by far the most active market, home to the state's largest hospital networks, academic medical centers, and specialty clinics. Augusta has a strong healthcare presence anchored by Augusta University Health and the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. Savannah and Macon also have regional hospital systems with recurring hiring needs. For rural and community health roles, positions exist across smaller markets, though volume is lower.
What types of healthcare roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
The TN visa covers specific occupations listed under the USMCA agreement. In healthcare, qualifying categories include Medical Laboratory Technologist, Pharmacist, Physician, Psychologist, Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Dietitian, Medical Social Worker, and Dentist, among others. Each category has defined educational and licensing requirements. Roles that fall outside these listed occupations, such as general healthcare administrators or unlicensed support staff, do not qualify for TN status.
How do I find healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is a job board specifically built for TN-eligible and other international professionals seeking visa sponsorship in the U.S. You can filter by state and industry to surface healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in Georgia directly, without sorting through listings from employers who don't sponsor. Migrate Mate focuses on roles where sponsorship is a confirmed or likely option, which saves significant time compared to broad job searches.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for healthcare TN sponsorship?
Georgia requires most licensed healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and physical therapists, to hold a valid Georgia state license before practicing. For TN applicants, this means coordinating licensure with the Georgia Composite Medical Board, Georgia Board of Nursing, or the relevant licensing body before or alongside the visa process. Some employers in Georgia will initiate TN paperwork concurrently with licensure, but requirements vary by employer and role.
