You will also play a critical role in mentoring teams, elevating scientific thinking, and ensuring delivery of precision, insight-driven medical communications that translate complex data into meaningful clinical and behavioral impact.
Responsibilities

- Lead the development of scientific strategy grounded in precision insights, ensuring all communications are anchored in clinical relevance, audience need, and behavioral impact
- Drive delivery of highly targeted, insight-driven medical and scientific communications, aligning data, narrative, and channel strategy to maximize influence
- Partner with Medical Strategy to formulate clear, differentiated, and actionable recommendations for current and prospective clients
- Translate complex scientific and clinical data into focused, decision-relevant insights that shape communication strategies and drive adoption
- Provide senior-level scientific oversight across deliverables, ensuring accuracy, depth, and strategic alignment
- Continuously integrate therapeutic area evolution, competitive intelligence, and emerging evidence into strategic recommendations
Client Partnership
- Build and maintain trusted, peer-to-peer relationships with Medical Affairs leaders, positioning yourself as a strategic scientific partner rather than a vendor
- Serve as a senior scientific advisor, shaping client thinking across scientific narrative, evidence translation, and engagement strategy
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Medical Affairs priorities (e.g., evidence generation, scientific exchange, field impact, payer relevance) and align solutions accordingly
- Partner with Client Services to identify and drive organic growth opportunities rooted in unmet client needs
- Contribute to new business efforts with strategically differentiated scientific input
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and elevate team members in both scientific rigor and strategic thinking, with an emphasis on insight generation and application
- Provide high-quality, actionable feedback that strengthens both content and underlying strategic rationale
- Build team capabilities in precision communication moving beyond information delivery to influence clinical behavior
- Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and excellence
Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner cross-functionally with Client Services, Strategy, Data Analytics, Creative, and Project Management to deliver integrated, insight-driven solutions
- Ensure all work meets high scientific standards while also achieving strategic and business objectives
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and resource allocation across accounts
- Collaborate with US Marketing to ensure alignment between medical communications and promotional strategy, while maintaining scientific integrity
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) in a scientific or medical field
- Significant experience in a healthcare communications agency or Medical Affairs–aligned environment

- Experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-account environment
Preferred (but not required):

Which automotive companies sponsor TN visas in Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania has a mix of Tier 1 suppliers, engineering firms, and fleet-focused manufacturers that sponsor TN visas. Companies like Dana Incorporated, BorgWarner, and Bentley Systems have Pennsylvania operations and hire Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying technical roles. Smaller automotive suppliers and engineering consultancies across the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia corridors also participate in TN sponsorship for specialized positions.
Which cities in Pennsylvania have the most automotive TN sponsorship jobs?
Pittsburgh leads Pennsylvania for automotive TN opportunities, given its concentration of manufacturing operations and engineering firms with ties to the auto supply chain. Philadelphia and its surrounding suburbs host corporate and R&D functions for automotive and mobility companies. Erie has a presence in vehicle components manufacturing, and Harrisburg's central location makes it a hub for logistics and fleet management roles with TN-eligible titles.
What types of automotive roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa eligibility in automotive is tied to specific USMCA occupation categories, not the industry itself. Qualifying roles commonly found in Pennsylvania's automotive sector include mechanical engineers, industrial engineers, manufacturing engineers, computer systems analysts, and scientists in materials or chemical disciplines. The role must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field, and the job offer must reflect that educational requirement.
How do I find automotive TN sponsorship jobs in Pennsylvania?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for professionals seeking TN visa sponsorship and lets you filter by visa type, state, and industry to surface Pennsylvania automotive roles from employers open to sponsoring Canadian and Mexican nationals. Because TN eligibility depends on both the role title and degree alignment, reviewing listings on Migrate Mate alongside the USMCA occupation categories helps you target positions where your credentials directly support a TN petition.
Are there any Pennsylvania-specific considerations for TN visa sponsorship in automotive?
Pennsylvania does not impose state-level visa requirements, but the state's automotive sector skews heavily toward engineering and supply chain functions rather than final assembly, which affects which TN categories are most relevant. Employers in Pennsylvania often file Labor Condition Applications with the Department of Labor before extending TN-eligible offers. Professionals should confirm that a prospective employer has experience with TN sponsorship, as administrative familiarity with the process varies significantly across smaller suppliers.
