The QC Analytical Chemist is responsible for performing analytical testing in a GMP-regulated laboratory to support the release of raw materials, in-process materials, final products, and stability samples. This role operates, calibrates, validates, and maintains a wide range of analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, HS-GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, KF, NMR, LCMS, and GCMS, while ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant test results. The QC Analytical Chemist prepares and maintains GMP documentation, supports working standard qualification activities, participates in analytical method validation and continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, technical expertise with laboratory instrumentation, and a thorough understanding of GMP and ICH requirements.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Calibrate, validate, maintain and operate laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, HS-GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, pH meter, balances, KF, DSC, TGA, NMR, LCMS, and GCMS.

Conduct GMP analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, final product, and stability samples.

Conduct working standard qualification.

Complete GMP documentation needed to support release of raw materials, intermediates, and final products.

Validate methods for use in GMP environment.

Prepare documents such as methods of analysis, specification, analytical reports etc.

Evaluate analytical methods and procedures and recommend improvements.

Execute GMP testing for campaigns with a focus on accuracy as well as timeliness of results.
QUALIFICATIONS
Typically, BS w/ 2+ years relevant experience or MS/PhD. degree in relevant field.
Knowledge of analytical equipment/instruments such as HPLC, GC, HS-GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, pH meter, KF, DSC, TGA, NMR, LCMS, and GCMS is required.
Familiarity with GMP, ICH regulations required.
Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
