Search Medical Devices Jobs in PennsylvaniaMedical Devices TN Sponsorship Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
Which medical devices companies sponsor TN visas in Pennsylvania?
Several major medical devices employers in Pennsylvania have established international hiring programs. Siemens Healthineers maintains a significant presence in Malvern, West Pharmaceutical Services is headquartered in Exton, and Teleflex operates from Wayne. Smaller contract manufacturers and device startups in the Philadelphia suburbs and Lehigh Valley also sponsor TN visas, particularly for engineers, scientists, and regulatory affairs professionals with specialized credentials.
Which cities in Pennsylvania have the most medical devices TN sponsorship jobs?
The Philadelphia metropolitan area, particularly the western suburbs including Malvern, Wayne, Exton, and King of Prussia, concentrates the highest number of medical devices employers in Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh has a growing health technology sector tied to its university and hospital networks. The Lehigh Valley, anchored by Allentown and Bethlehem, also hosts established device manufacturers with recurring international hiring needs.
What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa eligibility in medical devices generally requires the position to fall within an eligible TN occupation category and the candidate to hold a qualifying degree in a relevant field. Roles that commonly align include mechanical or biomedical engineers, quality and regulatory affairs specialists, scientists in R&D, and computer systems engineers working on embedded or software-driven devices. The position must require professional-level credentials, not just technical experience.
How do I find medical devices TN sponsorship jobs in Pennsylvania?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by TN visa, the medical devices industry, and Pennsylvania to see roles where employers have indicated sponsorship willingness. This saves significant time compared to manually reviewing job postings that rarely specify visa support. Migrate Mate focuses on connecting Canadian and Mexican professionals with U.S. employers actively open to TN arrangements, including in Pennsylvania's device sector.
Are there state-specific or industry-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in Pennsylvania medical devices?
Pennsylvania does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements, but the medical devices industry adds regulatory complexity that shapes hiring. Employers in FDA-regulated device manufacturing often require candidates to demonstrate familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 13485 or FDA 21 CFR Part 820. Roles tied to clinical or lab environments may also require specific licensure under Pennsylvania state law, which is separate from and in addition to TN visa eligibility.
