Energy CX Company Culture
Our culture is not for everyone. It is designed for people who want to grow fast, take ownership and raise the bar every day.
At Energy CX, we don’t just work—we challenge each other to solve hard problems, innovate boldly and keep improving. We believe in personal growth, extreme accountability and building a team of exceptional people who push one another to be better.
We live by The Four Forces of Innovation — the levers that power innovation at scale:
Higher Standards - Raise the Bar
Excellence isn’t reserved for launches or headlines. It’s how we communicate, plan, and follow through. We value ownership, prioritization, focus, discipline, effective communication, action, efficiency, resourcefulness and maximizing value.
Innovate It - Think Differently
Innovation isn’t about flashy ideas, it’s about taking on new challenges and outgrowing what no longer serves. At Energy CX, we are experimenting constantly and building what the customer actually needs—especially when it breaks what came before. We value curiosity, experimentation, collaboration, bold thinking, long-term vision, customer centricity and simplicity.
Continuous Growth - Better Every Day
Growth is not perfection – it’s our commitment to get better every single day. No matter how successful we become, we stay open, driven and aware that mastery is a process. We improve with feedback and through failures. We value grit, transparency, resilience, fulfillment, constant learning, and being one team.
Do Good - Leave It Better
Doing good is about serving others and creating lasting impact. The good we do doesn’t usually return to us directly – and that’s the point. We believe that every system we strengthen, every teammate we invest in and every customer we guide creates an impact we may never see. But we do it anyway because our work extends far beyond today. We value humility, community, kindness and leaving every person and project better than we found them.
The Deal at Energy CX
Our culture rewards personal growth and performance. If you want comfort, predictability or an easy path, this isn’t the place for you. If you want to push boundaries, grow faster than you thought possible and help reinvent how the world buys energy, you’ll thrive here.
We are seeking exceptional individuals to join us.

Which companies sponsor visas for business operations analysts in Illinois?
Large employers in Illinois with established visa sponsorship programs for business operations analysts include Accenture, Boeing, Morningstar, Hyatt, United Airlines, Baxter International, and Abbott Laboratories. Major consulting firms such as Deloitte and McKinsey, which have significant Chicago offices, also sponsor this role. These companies file H-1B petitions regularly and have dedicated immigration support infrastructure, making them more reliable sponsorship options than smaller employers.
Which visa types are most common for business operations analyst roles in Illinois?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for business operations analysts in Illinois, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field. L-1B visas are another pathway for analysts transferring within a multinational company. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for the TN visa under the USMCA economist or management consultant categories, depending on specific job duties.
Which cities in Illinois have the most business operations analyst sponsorship jobs?
Chicago accounts for the overwhelming majority of business operations analyst sponsorship opportunities in Illinois. The Loop, River North, and Fulton Market districts concentrate finance, consulting, and technology employers that regularly sponsor this role. Suburban clusters in Deerfield, Abbott Park, and Schaumburg also offer opportunities, particularly at large healthcare and manufacturing corporations headquartered in the Chicago metro area outside the city itself.
How to find business operations analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Illinois?
Migrate Mate filters business operations analyst jobs specifically to employers who have sponsored visas, so you can focus your search on Illinois companies with a real sponsorship track record rather than applying broadly and hoping. Migrate Mate's job board is particularly useful for narrowing results to Chicago-area employers in finance, consulting, and technology, where sponsorship for this role is most concentrated. Searching by state and role together saves significant time in the application process.
Are there any Illinois-specific considerations for business operations analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Illinois requires H-1B employers to post a Labor Condition Application notice at the worksite, which is standard federal procedure but enforced consistently across Cook County and surrounding areas. Chicago's density of Fortune 500 headquarters means prevailing wage determinations for business operations analyst roles are benchmarked to a competitive metro market. University pipelines from the University of Chicago, Northwestern, and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign feed OPT candidates into Illinois employers, making STEM-adjacent operations roles particularly active for international hiring.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business operations analyst jobs in Illinois?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
