Which cities in Illinois have the most IT support technician sponsorship jobs?
Chicago accounts for the large majority of IT support technician visa sponsorship activity in Illinois, driven by its concentration of financial services firms, consulting companies, and enterprise technology employers. Smaller activity exists in Champaign-Urbana, tied to the University of Illinois and affiliated research institutions.

What is the prevailing wage for sponsored it support technician jobs in Illinois?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
