Which companies in Indiana sponsor visas for supply chain roles?
Eli Lilly, Cummins, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, and Zimmer Biomet are among the Indiana employers with documented H-1B sponsorship activity in supply chain and operations roles. Large third-party logistics providers with Indiana distribution centers, including Ryder and XPO, have also filed labor condition applications for supply chain positions. Sponsorship activity is most concentrated among multinational manufacturers rather than smaller regional firms.
What visa types are most common for supply chain jobs in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for supply chain roles in Indiana, particularly for positions like supply chain analyst, demand planner, and procurement specialist that require a bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain management, industrial engineering, or business. The TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles. The O-1 visa is rarely applicable given the nature of most supply chain positions.
How to find supply chain visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse supply chain roles in Indiana without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can search by the role type and filter to Indiana to surface relevant openings across logistics, procurement, and operations functions. Focusing on Indianapolis and Columbus, where manufacturing and distribution employers are concentrated, tends to yield the most active listings.
Which Indiana cities have the most supply chain sponsorship opportunities?
Indianapolis is the dominant market, home to major corporate headquarters and distribution infrastructure serving the pharmaceutical and consumer goods sectors. Columbus, Indiana draws supply chain professionals to its automotive supply base centered around Cummins and related manufacturers. Fort Wayne has a growing logistics presence tied to its position as a regional freight hub. Terre Haute and Lafayette also see supply chain hiring connected to pharmaceutical and agricultural processing operations.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for supply chain visa sponsorship?
Indiana's strength in automotive and pharmaceutical manufacturing means supply chain roles here often require specialized knowledge of those industries, which can strengthen an H-1B petition by demonstrating that the position genuinely requires a specific degree field. Purdue University produces a strong pipeline of supply chain and industrial engineering graduates, so employers in the state are generally familiar with sponsoring international candidates from that program. Prevailing wage requirements apply statewide and vary by county and specific job title.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
