Which companies in Indiana sponsor visas for support analysts?
Large Indiana employers with established visa sponsorship programs include Eli Lilly, Salesforce, Cummins, Anthem (Elevance Health), and OneAmerica. These organizations have consistent H-1B filing histories for technical support roles. Midsize IT services firms and healthcare technology companies in the Indianapolis metro also sponsor support analysts, particularly those with specialized platform or enterprise software expertise.
Which visa types are most common for support analyst roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for support analyst roles in Indiana, provided the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific technical field. Candidates already holding F-1 OPT or STEM OPT authorization can work while an H-1B petition is pending. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying analyst classifications under the USMCA agreement.
How to find support analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find support analyst roles in Indiana without sorting through positions that won't consider international candidates. You can search by role and state to surface employers currently hiring for these positions. Given Indiana's concentration of healthcare IT and manufacturing tech employers, filtering to those industries on Migrate Mate can surface the most active sponsors.
Which cities in Indiana have the most support analyst sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the majority of support analyst sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, healthcare systems, and financial services firms. Fort Wayne and Carmel see hiring from manufacturing technology and logistics companies. Bloomington has a smaller but active tech employer base connected to Indiana University, which produces a consistent pipeline of international technical graduates.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for support analyst visa sponsorship?
Indiana employers sponsoring H-1B support analysts must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the specific role and location, which is determined at the county level and varies across the state. Indianapolis-based roles typically carry higher prevailing wage requirements than rural counties. Indiana's lower cost of living relative to coastal markets can make it an attractive option for candidates weighing total compensation against visa sponsorship availability.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored support analyst jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
