Which companies sponsor visas for data analytics managers in Kansas?
Kansas employers with documented H-1B sponsorship histories in data and analytics include Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) in Kansas City, Garmin in Olathe, and Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita. Mid-size healthcare systems, agricultural technology firms, and financial services companies in the Overland Park corridor have also filed Labor Condition Applications for analytics manager roles in recent years.
Which visa types are most common for data analytics manager roles in Kansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for data analytics managers in Kansas, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as statistics, computer science, or information systems. Candidates already holding L-1B specialized knowledge status at multinationals, or those eligible for the TN visa under USMCA, may have additional pathways available depending on their nationality and employer.
Which cities in Kansas have the most data analytics manager sponsorship jobs?
The Kansas City metro, particularly Overland Park and Lenexa on the Kansas side, accounts for the largest share of data analytics manager openings in the state, driven by a concentration of healthcare IT, fintech, and corporate headquarters. Wichita is the secondary market, anchored by aerospace and manufacturing firms with growing analytics functions. Lawrence, home to the University of Kansas, occasionally generates roles tied to research and institutional analytics.
How to find data analytics manager visa sponsorship jobs in Kansas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and lets you filter data analytics manager roles by state, so you can browse Kansas openings from employers with active sponsorship histories without sorting through positions that don't support work visas. Pairing Migrate Mate with direct outreach to Kansas City and Wichita employers known for H-1B filings improves your chances of connecting with the right hiring teams.
Are there state-specific or role-specific considerations for data analytics manager sponsorship in Kansas?
Kansas does not have a state-level visa or sponsorship program, so all work authorization follows federal processes. For data analytics manager roles, employers must file a Labor Condition Application certifying the offered wage meets the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the Overland Park or Wichita metropolitan statistical area, which influences how compensation is structured in offer letters. University of Kansas and Kansas State University both produce graduate talent in data science, which sustains local employer pipelines and familiarity with sponsorship processes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored data analytics manager jobs in Kansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
