Which companies in Kansas sponsor visas for technical product managers?
Wichita-based aviation and aerospace employers including Textron Aviation and Spirit AeroSystems have sponsored technical product manager roles, as have financial services and healthcare organizations in the Kansas City metro area. Large corporations with established immigration programs are generally more likely to sponsor H-1B petitions for TPM positions than smaller Kansas employers.
Which visa types are most common for technical product manager roles in Kansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for technical product managers in Kansas, as TPM roles typically qualify as specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may also qualify under the TN visa category, which has no annual lottery and allows employer sponsorship without a cap.
Which cities in Kansas have the most technical product manager sponsorship jobs?
Wichita is Kansas's largest city and anchors the state's aerospace and manufacturing sector, making it the primary hub for TPM roles with sponsorship potential. The Kansas City metro area, which straddles the Kansas-Missouri border, hosts financial technology, healthcare IT, and enterprise software employers that also hire and sponsor technical product managers.
How to find technical product manager visa sponsorship jobs in Kansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles offering visa sponsorship, so you can search technical product manager positions in Kansas without sorting through employers who won't sponsor. Because TPM roles vary widely across aerospace, fintech, and healthcare, Migrate Mate lets you narrow by industry and location to focus on Kansas employers actively filing H-1B petitions for this role.
Are there any state-specific considerations for technical product managers seeking sponsorship in Kansas?
Kansas technical product managers sponsored on H-1B visas must be paid at least the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the role and metro area, which is separately determined for Wichita and the Kansas City region. Kansas's aerospace and aviation industry pipeline through Wichita State University also produces local talent, meaning sponsored candidates typically need to demonstrate specialized skills or qualifications that distinguish them from domestic applicants.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical product manager jobs in Kansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
