Which companies in Utah sponsor visas for technical product managers?
Adobe, Qualtrics, Domo, and Pluralsight are among the larger Utah-based employers with documented H-1B sponsorship histories for technical product roles. Outside Silicon Slopes, healthcare technology companies including Health Catalyst and Collective Medical have also sponsored technical PMs. Sponsorship availability depends on the specific role, headcount, and hiring cycle, so direct confirmation from each employer is necessary.
Which visa types are most common for technical product manager roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for technical product managers in Utah, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field such as computer science or engineering. L-1B intracompany transferee visas are also relevant for candidates moving to a Utah office from an overseas subsidiary of the same employer. O-1 visas are an option for those with exceptional professional recognition.
Which cities in Utah have the most technical product manager sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City and its suburbs, particularly Lehi and Draper within the Silicon Slopes corridor, account for the majority of technical product manager openings in Utah. Provo also has a notable concentration of tech employers, partly driven by proximity to Brigham Young University. Outside this corridor, sponsorship opportunities for technical PMs are limited, making the greater Salt Lake metro the clear center of gravity for international candidates.
How to find technical product manager visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify Utah employers actively hiring technical product managers who can support international candidates. Because sponsorship is not always disclosed upfront, using a dedicated platform like Migrate Mate saves significant time compared to reviewing general job postings. You can filter by state and role to surface relevant openings in the Silicon Slopes area and broader Salt Lake metro.
Are there any Utah-specific factors that affect technical product manager sponsorship hiring?
Utah's tech sector has grown substantially through the Silicon Slopes initiative, which has attracted both established companies and well-funded startups to the state. Many of these employers recruit from local universities including the University of Utah and Utah Valley University, which have active international student pipelines that feed into OPT and H-1B pathways. Prevailing wage determinations for technical PM roles in Utah are set at the county level by the Department of Labor and are a mandatory part of any H-1B filing.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical product manager jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
