- Design and implement comprehensive conditioning and rehabilitation programs that prioritize athlete safety and recovery through customized nutrition and scheduling.
- Evaluate and manage acute injuries to provide immediate care and long-term treatment strategies for athletes.
- Coordinate patient care by maintaining detailed medical documentation and acting as the vital link between physicians, sports performance staff, and athletes.
- Prepare athletes for safe participation in practice and competition by ensuring all activities align with professional regulations and medical guidelines.
Licensure / Certification / Registration Required Credential(s):
- Licensed Athletic Trainer credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
