- Our team provides athletic injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and follow-up evaluations tailored to your needs.
- From diagnosis to treatment, through rehabilitation and recovery, our team gets you back in the game. Actively involved in the community, our athletic trainers perform on-site injury assessment and treatment during athletic events.
- Because injuries don't always occur during regular business hours, we have a certified athletic trainer on-call every weekend.
What You’ll Do
- Performs and documents as directed by physician for patients classified as athletes according to state licensure act.
- Independently assesses patients/athletes to determine appropriate athletic injury care or referral to physician for evaluation.
- Provides rehabilitation and athletic injury coverage for area schools.
- In clinical setting, delivers treatment under direction of evaluating therapist to meet stated goals.
This may range from middle school, to high school to college events.
Requirements
- Upon hire, must have athletic trainer license for the state in which they are practicing.
- Master's degree is preferred but will accept Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred two years of working experience as a certified athletic trainer.
- New graduates are considered with active certification or licensure.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
