We’re building a world of health around every individual — shaping a more connected, convenient and compassionate health experience. At CVS Health®, you’ll be surrounded by passionate colleagues who care deeply, innovate with purpose, hold ourselves accountable and prioritize safety and quality in everything we do. Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.
Position Summary
At CVS Health, our purpose is to simplify health care, one person, one family, and one community at a time, with the ambition to be America’s most trusted health care company. Healthcare Analytics powers that purpose, building AI-powered analytics solutions to help care reach consumers affordably and on time.
This role is the right hand to the SVP leading Healthcare Analytics. You will own the numbers that keep the organization funded and accountable, the processes that keep it running day to day, and the communications that share its success stories with senior leadership and colleagues. This is a high-visibility seat for someone who wants to operate at the intersection of innovation, strategy, finance, and storytelling inside one of the largest analytics organizations in healthcare.
What you will own:
- Financial stewardship: managing the capital and operating budget across the portfolio, track value realization and ROI against committed initiatives, and build the financial narrative for budget reviews with business partners.
- Operational rhythm: run the recruiting pipeline, manage onboarding so new colleagues get up to speed effectively, organize leadership onsite workshops, and have meeting cadence to drive transparency and engagement.
- Executive communication: produce executive-ready materials, including leadership updates and other communications to represent the organization’s work with partners and stakeholders, both internal and external. This includes crafting the agenda and content for town halls.
- Strategic planning and performance management support: partner on annual and mid-year planning cycles, including goal setting and tracking progress against commitments through scorecard and metrics updates.
- Talent management processes: run talent reviews and calibration, analyze Colleague Engagement survey results and drive the resulting action items, and support talent growth.
- Cross-functional coordination: serve as a connective point with peer Chiefs of Staff and the broader Digital, Data, Analytics and Technology organization to share best practices and coordinate updates.
- Issue resolution: identify and clear the blockers that slow down initiatives, escalating to the SVP as needed.
What makes someone successful:
- Genuine comfort with numbers, understanding what they mean for our scorecard and overall budget.
- Process discipline combined with creative solutioning and the instinct to build a system once rather than solve the same problem ad hoc every quarter.
- Strong executive presence in writing, knowing how to lead with key compelling messages and inspiring stories. High level understanding of AI to enable effective storytelling.
- Judgment about what needs the SVP’s attention and what can be handled independently.
- Comfort with ambiguity and change management, given all the exciting opportunities and disruption that AI is bringing to our field.
- Proficiency with (or eagerness to learn) using AI tools in their work to augment their role and provide support to the broader Healthcare Analytics leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of business leadership experience, including as a Chief of Staff, with expertise in budget management, operational process development, and executive-level communications.
- 8+ years of Excel, analytics, and reporting experience, with strong financial acumen and a proven ability to track ROI, measure value realization, and deliver executive insights.
- 6+ years of experience managing and optimizing structured business processes, including recruiting operations, onboarding programs, and cross-functional governance, with a proven ability to drive execution and operational excellence.
- 6+ years of excellent written communication experience, with a proven ability to develop executive-ready materials with minimal guidance from senior leaders.
- 5+ years of experience thriving in fast-paced, matrixed organizations, with a proven ability to drive results independently and without direct team support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with a product-oriented way of working, including how teams organize around products, ownership, and delivery.
- Healthcare or insurance industry experience.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MBA or Master’s degree in a quantitative or business field preferred.

Which companies sponsor visas for healthcare assistants in Kentucky?
The largest sponsors for healthcare assistant roles in Kentucky tend to be major hospital systems and health networks. Norton Healthcare and Baptist Health, both headquartered in Louisville, have sponsored foreign workers in clinical support roles. UK HealthCare in Lexington and Appalachian Regional Healthcare serving eastern Kentucky are also active employers. Larger health systems generally have dedicated HR and immigration infrastructure, making them more likely to navigate sponsorship than smaller clinics or private practices.
Which visa types are most common for healthcare assistant roles in Kentucky?
H-1B visas apply to healthcare assistant roles only when the position genuinely qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a specific bachelor's degree, which not all assistant-level roles meet. EB-3 immigrant visas are more commonly used for healthcare support roles, particularly through the PERM labor certification process. Some employers also sponsor TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying allied health categories. The appropriate visa depends heavily on the specific duties and educational requirements of the role.
Which cities in Kentucky have the most healthcare assistant sponsorship jobs?
Louisville is Kentucky's primary hub for healthcare assistant sponsorship jobs, home to large health systems with the resources to support visa petitions. Lexington follows closely, anchored by UK HealthCare and a concentration of specialty clinics tied to the University of Kentucky medical campus. Bowling Green and Owensboro have growing regional hospital systems that occasionally sponsor. Rural eastern Kentucky has significant healthcare need but fewer employers with established immigration sponsorship processes.
How to find healthcare assistant visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship roles in the U.S., including healthcare assistant positions in Kentucky. You can filter jobs by state and role to surface employers who have a documented history of sponsoring foreign workers in clinical support positions. Because sponsorship availability isn't always listed in standard job postings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that screens for sponsorship-willing employers saves significant time in your search.
Are there state-specific considerations for healthcare assistant visa sponsorship in Kentucky?
Kentucky requires healthcare assistants in certain settings, such as nursing homes, to hold state-issued certifications like the Kentucky Nurse Aide certification. International candidates should confirm their credentials meet Kentucky's licensing requirements before or alongside any visa sponsorship process, since an employer's willingness to sponsor does not automatically resolve credential recognition issues. The University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky University produce healthcare graduates who compete for the same entry-level roles, so clinical experience and verifiable credentials strengthen an international applicant's case.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored healthcare assistant jobs in Kentucky?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
