Responsibilities
- Perform ERP software installation, data migration and upgrade services for existing Tyler clients from their OnPremise install to AWS Cloud through scheduled project appointments with a defined scope of work.
- Configure application, database, and web servers with Tyler and 3rd party software.
- Provide technical overviews to clients regarding server configurations and software installation procedures.
- Document results of service work performed for use by internal staff.
- Position requires some travel for team engagements or client user groups.
- Position requires Saturday coverage up to once a month based on customer requests.
- Installs, configures and tests all components to the expected revisions and performance standards.
- Provides high-level installation planning and consulting for existing clients.
- Assists training staff on the installation procedures and processes.
- Assists the Installation Analyst with developing consistent installation standards.
- Provides high quality installation services to large and complex clients.
- Work through complex technical issues with customers.
- Manage and prioritize multiple and often conflicting tasks while working independently.
- Become a trusted client resource by providing service that consistently demonstrates a high level of product knowledge and work ethic along with respect for the client.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in MIS, IT, Computer Science or Computer Engineering related degrees or equivalent experience.
- Experience administering and/or installing applications on Microsoft Windows Server.
- Experience administering and/or installing Microsoft SQL Server.
- A minimum of 18 months of relevant experience installing and configuring software associated with Tyler solutions.
- Demonstrated proficiency with installing and upgrading Tyler applications.
- Strong knowledge of web servers (IIS, Apache) and secured communication (SSL).
- Basic knowledge of server hardware and network configurations.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to self-manage projects and prioritize work.
- Ability to communicate effectively with highly technical and non-technical individuals.
- Must be able to contribute and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to evaluate the severity of an issue and determine if management intervention is necessary to address a serious problem in a timely manner.
- Build rapport with clients to turn what may be a negative situation into a positive customer service experience.
- Prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Demonstrate ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude.
- Must have excellent customer service and client relationship building skills.
- Strong attention to detail is needed.
