ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my State Farm agency in July 2025 and currently have a team of three dedicated professionals. Before becoming an agent, I spent 18 years in home lending, including time as a manager with JP Morgan Chase. About four years ago, I made the transition into the insurance world and quickly discovered that the independence, entrepreneurship, and opportunity for impact that come with agency ownership were exactly what I was looking for.
I grew up in Howard and Montgomery County, and I’m proud to serve the same community that helped shape me. Outside the office, I coach my son’s soccer team and stay connected through affiliations with Howard Community College and various local organizations. Each year, our agency participates in charity work supporting local religious centers and community initiatives.
I offer my team 15 days of PTO annually, a health stipend, a strong focus on work-life balance, and a $500 bonus for each license obtained before your start date. Our office culture is family-oriented yet performance-driven — everyone supports each other while maintaining a strong commitment to results.
I’m looking for team members who are motivated, team-oriented, and always willing to go above and beyond for both our clients and their teammates.

Which companies sponsor visas for customer service roles in Maryland?
Federal contractors and large healthcare systems are among the more active visa sponsors for customer service positions in Maryland. Organizations like Leidos, Booz Allen Hamilton, Johns Hopkins Health System, and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield have filed Labor Condition Applications for customer-facing roles. Technology and financial services firms based in the Baltimore-Washington corridor also sponsor, though sponsorship is not guaranteed and varies by role and business need.
Which visa types are most common for customer service jobs in Maryland?
The H-1B is the most common work visa for customer service roles in Maryland that require a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as communications, business, or healthcare administration. The TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. The E-3 applies to Australian citizens. Customer service roles without a degree requirement generally do not qualify for these specialty occupation visas.
Which cities in Maryland have the most customer service sponsorship jobs?
Baltimore, Bethesda, and Rockville account for the largest share of customer service sponsorship activity in Maryland. Baltimore is home to major healthcare and financial services employers. Bethesda and Rockville, along with the broader Montgomery County corridor, have a high concentration of federal contractors, biotech firms, and technology companies that hire customer-facing staff with visa sponsorship.
How to find customer service visa sponsorship jobs in Maryland?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship eligibility, making it easier to identify Maryland employers actively hiring customer service professionals who need sponsorship. Rather than sorting through thousands of general postings, you can search by role type and state to surface relevant opportunities. Migrate Mate is particularly useful if you're on OPT, an H-1B transfer, or another work authorization with a tight timeline.
Are there state-specific considerations for customer service visa sponsorship in Maryland?
Maryland's proximity to Washington, DC means many employers are federal contractors, which can affect sponsorship willingness due to security clearance requirements. Some customer service roles tied to government contracts may require eligibility for clearances that non-US citizens cannot obtain, limiting sponsorship options in that segment. Healthcare and private-sector financial services employers in the state tend to have more flexibility and have historically filed more LCAs for customer service and client relations roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer service jobs in Maryland?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
