ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I’ve been a State Farm agent in Germantown, MD for four years, but this community has been home for much longer — I lived here for 14 years and even went to high school here. Before opening my agency, I spent seven years as a bank manager and, before that, managed a health club in Gaithersburg. With about 20 years of experience in sales and customer service, I understand the importance of consistency, hard work, and building genuine relationships.
Our team of six shares that same philosophy — that anyone can achieve their goals with dedication and the right mindset. We focus on coaching, development, and accountability. I’m looking for someone coachable, willing to learn, and ready to take action. Skills can be taught, but drive and a positive attitude are what truly lead to success.
We offer 10 personal days off, a local gym membership, salary plus commission and monthly bonuses, as well as quarterly bonuses that can total around $6,000 per year. If you’re looking for a supportive, growth-oriented environment where effort is recognized and rewarded, this could be a great place for you to build your career.

Which companies sponsor visas for support associates in Maryland?
Federal contractors and healthcare organizations lead sponsorship activity for support associates in Maryland. Companies like Booz Allen Hamilton, Leidos, Northrop Grumman, and Maximus Federal Services have filed Labor Condition Applications for support-related roles in the state. Johns Hopkins Health System and University of Maryland Medical Center also sponsor international workers in patient and technical support positions across the Baltimore metro area.
Which visa types are most common for support associate roles in Maryland?
The H-1B is the most common visa for support associates where the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as information technology or business administration. Some positions qualify under the TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible occupational categories. The O-1 is uncommon for support roles. Many employers also hire support associates already authorized to work through OPT or STEM OPT extension.
Which cities in Maryland have the most support associate sponsorship jobs?
Baltimore is the largest hiring market for support associates in Maryland, driven by its concentration of healthcare systems, universities, and financial services firms. Bethesda and Rockville, located in Montgomery County, attract sponsorship from federal contractors and biotech companies. Columbia and Annapolis also have active hiring, particularly for IT support roles tied to government and defense sector employers operating throughout the I-95 corridor.
How to find support associate visa sponsorship jobs in Maryland?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find support associate roles in Maryland where employers are actively open to sponsoring international candidates. You can filter by location and job type to surface relevant openings across Baltimore, Bethesda, and surrounding areas, rather than sorting through listings where sponsorship status is unclear or unlisted.
Are there any Maryland-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for support associates?
Maryland's high concentration of federal contractors introduces a unique consideration: many sponsoring employers require security clearance eligibility, which can affect visa holders. The state's proximity to Washington D.C. also means support roles often fall under federal contracting labor compliance standards. Maryland's strong university pipeline, including University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins, creates a steady supply of OPT-eligible candidates that some employers transition into H-1B sponsorship after initial hiring.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored support associate jobs in Maryland?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
