Which companies sponsor visas for project analysts in Massachusetts?
Large Massachusetts employers with consistent H-1B sponsorship histories for project analyst roles include Fidelity Investments, Liberty Mutual, Mass General Brigham, Raytheon Technologies, and Biogen. Consulting firms with significant Boston offices, including Accenture and Deloitte, also sponsor project analysts regularly. Sponsorship practices vary by employer and open position, so reviewing each company's recent LCA filings through the Department of Labor gives the clearest picture of actual sponsorship activity.
Which visa types are most common for project analyst roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B is the most common visa for project analysts in Massachusetts, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, information systems, or engineering, qualifying it as a specialty occupation. Some candidates transition from F-1 OPT, particularly given Massachusetts' large international student population. Australian citizens may qualify for the E-3, which has no lottery and is processed more quickly than the H-1B.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most project analyst sponsorship jobs?
Boston accounts for the majority of project analyst visa sponsorship opportunities in Massachusetts, driven by its concentration of financial services firms, healthcare systems, and consulting offices. Cambridge is a secondary hub, particularly for biotech and life sciences companies along the Kendall Square corridor. Waltham and Burlington along the Route 128 technology belt also have meaningful project analyst hiring activity at defense contractors and enterprise software companies.
How to find project analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse project analyst roles in Massachusetts without sifting through positions that don't sponsor. The platform covers openings across Boston, Cambridge, and the Route 128 corridor. Because sponsorship availability changes with each hiring cycle, checking Migrate Mate regularly gives you the most current picture of which Massachusetts employers are actively sponsoring project analysts.
Are there any state-specific considerations for project analysts seeking sponsorship in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts has one of the highest concentrations of H-1B employers in the country relative to its size, which works in candidates' favor. The state's strong university pipeline, including MIT, Boston University, and Northeastern, means many employers are already familiar with OPT-to-H-1B transitions for project analyst roles. Employers must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the Boston-Cambridge metropolitan area, which is among the higher prevailing wage benchmarks nationally for business and IT analyst classifications.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project analyst jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
