Which companies sponsor visas for radiologic technologists in Massachusetts?
Mass General Brigham, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Tufts Medical Center, and UMass Memorial Health have all sponsored foreign workers for clinical imaging roles. Large academic health systems in Massachusetts generally have dedicated HR and legal infrastructure to support H-1B visa and EB-3 sponsorship, though sponsorship decisions are made case by case and are not guaranteed for every open position.
Which visa types are most common for radiologic technologist roles in Massachusetts?
The EB-3 immigrant visa is frequently used for radiologic technologists because the role qualifies as a skilled worker position requiring specialized training. The H-1B nonimmigrant visa is also used when the role meets specialty occupation requirements, though that classification can be more complex for allied health positions. Some international candidates also arrive through J-1 visa exchange programs affiliated with Massachusetts teaching hospitals before pursuing permanent sponsorship.
How to find radiologic technologist visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters radiologic technologist openings in Massachusetts by sponsorship availability, so you are not sifting through postings from employers who do not sponsor. You can search by modality, facility type, and location across the state. Because Massachusetts has a high concentration of academic medical centers, sponsoring employers appear regularly on the platform for both full-time hospital roles and outpatient imaging positions.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most radiologic technologist sponsorship jobs?
Boston is by far the primary hiring hub, driven by the concentration of major academic medical centers in the Longwood Medical Area and downtown campuses. Worcester is the second-largest market, anchored by UMass Memorial Health and St. Vincent Hospital. Springfield, Lowell, and Brockton also see steady demand through regional hospital systems. Suburban Boston communities like Waltham, Newton, and Burlington have active outpatient and specialty imaging centers as well.
Are there state-specific considerations for radiologic technologists seeking sponsorship in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts requires radiologic technologists to hold a state license through the Department of Public Health, in addition to ARRT certification. Employers initiating EB-3 or H-1B sponsorship will typically require proof of both before filing. Massachusetts prevailing wage levels reflect the high cost-of-living market, and employers must certify wages meet Department of Labor standards as part of any labor condition application. Candidates who completed training at Massachusetts programs like Bunker Hill Community College or UMass Lowell may already have institutional connections that help in the job search.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored radiologic technologist jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
